This describes what this website collects and what we do with it. It is short because the site does very little.
What we collect
If you fill in the form on our contact page, we receive what you typed: your name, work email, company, role, an optional phone number, and your description of the project. We record when it was sent.
If you email us instead, we have your message and whatever your email client sends with it. That is all.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, and to prepare for a first conversation. Your description of the project is the point of the form — it means the first call starts somewhere useful.
To stop automated submissions, we briefly keep the IP address a submission came from and count how many arrive from it. That count is not stored with your enquiry, is not used for anything else, and is deleted within a few hours.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not run advertising or retargeting, and there are no advertising or social media trackers on this site.
This site sets no cookies for analytics or tracking.
Who else handles it
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests and records anonymous, cookieless traffic measurements that cannot identify you individually.
Form submissions are stored in a managed Postgres database and sent to us by email through a transactional email provider. Those providers process the data only to store and deliver it.
We do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a live conversation, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it resumes. Rate-limiting records are short-lived and expire on their own.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will do it.
Asking us about your data
Write to emilio@lyticaconsulting.com. Ask what we hold, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. We will reply within one business day, and we will not ask you why.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children.
